As a blogger when you want to host java script files, you want to get help from free .js hosting provider like google sites. But here the problem is bandwidth limitations. If you can host java script files into blogger you can get unlimited bandwidth for your .js files.

So if you want to host your .js files with unlimited bandwidth use the code below.

If you can't understand above code look at the example below.

This is the code when you host your java script file into another hosting account.

Now you are done.

Love the idea but here's the problem. Instead of assuming I know all the intermediary steps of hosting a .js file somewhere, perhaps you could write a short step by step tutorial of how to get the file hosted on Blogger.

I've never hosted a .js file *anywhere* before and am trying to put up a template that requires one. I could play around with what you wrote and see if I get lucky but I still think the basic info is missing...

...how do I get the .js file ON Blogger?

    Thanks,
    Sam

Ok, wait... looks like I'm just supposed to put the literal code right into the template, I guess?

hi. this works well when the javascript is placed in the template but not in the sidebar widgets. i have widgets with javascripts such as recent comments and recent tags.

or is there a way that i can place javascript in template and my sidebar widgets can access the javascript from the template?

    help pls.

I have the same problem. How do I connect the javascript on the template in one widget.
